MOUNTAIN ZONES
At Stowe Mountain Resort, our two mountains are naturally divided into six distinct areas that each provide a unique atmosphere for skiers and riders.
TOLL HOUSE on the southernmost flank of Mount Mansfield, is where you’ll find the resort’s easiest routes. It’s a great place to relax or work on new skills. You can also take the long way down the historic Toll Road and enjoy a ski-in fireside lunch.
MANSFIELD TRIPLE ranks highest with young riders and skiers, thanks to two new terrain parks, a halfpipe and other freestyle treats. There are also many lines down gentle and intermediate trails to explore.
MIDDLE MANSFIELD features the most consistent pitch and the longest twisting cruisers in the East. It is served by the FourRunner Quad and Lookout Double and also contains numerous glades and our most difficult trails – the legendary Front Four.
MANSFIELD GONDOLA is served by our 8-person, high-speed gondola that whisks you just below Vermont’s highest summit. The Gondola offers the finest wide-open cruisers in the East and routes that run the gamut from meandering traverses to skill-testing plunges.
LOWER SPRUCE PEAK is the hub of our world-renowned Stowe Ski and Snowboard School. Lower Spruce is brimming with enthusiastic young skiers and riders, beginners of all ages and aspiring champions. It is also the home of the new Spruce Peak community.
UPPER SPRUCE PEAK boasts the new Sensation high-speed Quad, a newly recontoured Main Street, and cutting-edge York snowmaking technology. Enjoy spectacular views at a slower, family-friendly pace on the slower side of the mountain.
